Employees Arrears Payment: Good News! Outstanding arrears of these employees will be paid soon, the amount will come into the account on this day

Arrears will be paid at the end of March

According to media reports, the salary of non-executive employees has been revised from July 1, 2021, but NCWA-11 dues have not been paid yet to the retired employees of various divisions, in such a situation, the DP of Coal India has asked all the subsidiary coal companies. Wrote a letter to CMD and instructed to make payment by 31st March. It is likely that arrears will be paid to all employees by April. The number of employees is approximately 18 thousand.

These workers will get the benefit of arrears

Its benefit will be available to those retired employees of SECL who have retired after July 2021. Apart from the payment of outstanding arrears of retired employees, the DP of Coal India has also given instructions to make the payment of statutory and general employees transferred in various companies as soon as possible. BCCL has also been asked to look into such matters. Director Finance RK Sahay, Director Personnel Murali Krishna Ramaiah have said that if the stipulated time limit is not met then accountability will be fixed on the concerned officer.

Hence the delay in arrear payment

It is noteworthy that the new wage agreement was to be implemented in Coal India from July 2021, JBCCI Committee was also constituted on time but due to lack of consensus on the issue of Minimum Guarantee Benefit, the arrear amount of 23 months was paid from July 2021. During this period, about 38 coal employees of SECL and the employees of the subsidiary companies of Coal India got its benefit, but during the said period of 23 months, the outstanding amount has not been paid to the retired employees, in such a situation, the retired employees also have to pay the arrear amount.
