Employees will get the benefit of increased salary
Coal India is working in its various subsidiaries. Contract workers of outsourcing companies will get the benefit of increased wages. In fact, it has been decided to increase his salary by Rs.389. In this case, the contract employees will get a minimum of Rs 1176 and a maximum of Rs 1266 per day basic. Salary will be paid to them by adding VDA to Basic. After this they will get a minimum benefit of Rs 1431 per day and a maximum of Rs 1550 per day.
Payment of their increased salary from 9th August
The employees are to be paid their increased salary from 9th August. A decision on this has been taken at the Kolkata-based Coalindia headquarters in the meeting of the Joint Committee constituted under the Wage Settlement. Coal India meeting was presided over by DP Vinay Ranjan. During this, a unanimous decision has been taken on the increment of the contract labourers. At the same time, the benefit of this will be given to more than 90 thousand contract laborers working in other subsidiaries of Coal India including BCCL, ECL and CCL.
Salary will increase so much
At present, except DA, unskilled contract workers are paid ₹ 787 per day, semi-skilled ₹ 817 per day, skilled ₹ 847 per day and high-skilled contract workers with a basic of ₹ 870 per day. With VDA, the benefit of wages is provided to unskilled Rs 1042, semi skilled Rs 1082, skilled Rs 1122 and high skilled contract workers Rs 1162 per day. At the same time, the benefit of increment will be given to the employees of Coal India including BCCL, ECL, CCL, WCL, SECL, MCL, NCL CMPDI, NEC.
You will also get the benefit of increment done on 6 months.
Apart from this increment, the contract laborers will also get the benefit of the increment done by the Government of India every 6 months. In the month of April and October their salary is increased by the Central Government. Whereas this will be kept in the Coal India Board. After that it will be implemented.
