Employees Diwali Bonus: Good news for employees, 4% increase in DA, salary will increase in December

DA Hike: Dearness allowance of employees-pensioners will increase again, arrears and bonus benefits will also be available, know how much the salary will increase?

With this decision of the state government, 16.35 lakh state employees, teachers and non-teaching employees and 12 lakh pensioners of the state will get the benefit of 46% DA. The new rates will be applicable from July 1, 2023, in which case arrears of 4 months will also be paid, which will be deposited in the Provident Fund Account (GPF).

 DA Hike/Bonus 2023: After giving 4% dearness allowance and Diwali bonus to government employees-pensioners by the Central and many state governments, now the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has given a big gift to lakhs of employee pensioners. CM has announced a bonus of Rs 7000 along with an increase in dearness allowance by 4%.

CM Yogi Adityanath has posted on social media platform Dearness allowance will be provided at the rate of %. Similarly, it has been decided to provide bonus equal to 30 days’ emoluments (maximum limit ₹ 7,000) to all state employees (non-gazetted)/work charged employees, teachers, non-teaching staff and daily wage workers. 46% benefit to more than 16 lakh employees, Diwali bonus to 14 lakh

With this decision of the state government, 16.35 lakh state employees, teachers and non-teaching employees and 12 lakh pensioners of the state will get the benefit of 46% DA. The new rates will be applicable from July 1, 2023, in which case arrears of 4 months will also be paid, which will be deposited in the Provident Fund Account (GPF). At the same time, 14.82 lakh non-gazetted state employees, teachers and non-teaching staff will be given a bonus equal to 30 days’ salary. DA will be paid in cash to the employees in December along with the November salary. It is estimated that there will be an additional expenditure of Rs 215 crore every month on DA of employees and Rs 1022 crore on bonus of non-gazetted employees.

You will also get the benefit of Rs 7000 bonus

After the decision of the CM, the benefit of bonus will be available to all full-time non-gazetted employees drawing grade pay up to Rs 4800, work-charged employees of government departments, aided educational and technical educational institutions, local bodies and district panchayat employees. Employees will get a bonus equal to 30 days’ salary for the year 2022-23, under which every employee will get a benefit of Rs 6908. The bonus amount will be given in 2 parts i.e. 75% will be deposited in the employees’ provident fund (GPF) account. Will be done and 25% i.e. Rs 1727 will be paid in cash. For employees who are not GPF members, their amount will be given in the form of National Savings Certificate. Bonus payment will cost Rs 1022 crore, out of which Rs 383 crore will be deposited in GPF accounts while Rs 639 crore will be paid in cash.
