Announcement to implement 2 additional holidays in the state
Making an important announcement on Wednesday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced to implement 2 additional holidays in the state. The Chief Minister said that considering the long standing demand, the state government would now provide full day holidays on two festivals.
Full days off
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced two additional holidays in the state on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat and Karma Puja. Till now both these sections were involved in holidays. Announcing this, Mamta Banerjee said that it was being demanded for a long time. Full day holidays will be given by the State Government on the occasion of Shabe Barat and Karma Puja.
