Nagpur: Three local holidays announced in the district
Let us tell you that Divisional Commissioner Vijay Lakshmi Vidari in Nagpur has announced three local holidays in the district as per the instructions of the Government Services Department of Maharashtra Government. Under this, local holidays have been announced including Pole Ka Padwa on Friday, September 15, Mahalakshmi Puja (Jyeshtha Gauri Puja) on September 22 and Diwali on November 13, the second day of Diwali.
It has been clarified in the order that this holiday has been declared as per the government decision of the Government Services Department, Maharashtra Government. Three local holidays will be applicable in Nagpur district. However, this order will not be implemented on banks including civil and criminal courts in the district.
Sukma: Announcement of local holiday
A local holiday has also been declared in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Orders have been issued for this. As per the order issued by the Collector, government offices, schools and colleges will be kept closed. However, the local holiday will not apply to banks, treasuries and sub-treasuries. Sukma Collector Harish S has announced a one-day local holiday in the entire district on 19 September 2023 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival for the calendar year 2023. Earlier, local holidays have been announced in many districts of Chhattisgarh.

As per the order issued, September 19 was declared a local holiday in Betul district on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. There will be a local holiday in the entire district on 12th November on the occasion of Govardhan Puja, the second day of Diwali. However, this holiday will not apply to treasury, sub-treasury and banks.
In the capital Bhopal, holiday has been declared on September 19, the second day of Dussehra, Durga Visarjan on Wednesday, October 25 and Monday, November 13, the second day of Diwali. Local holidays have been issued for these three days in the capital. Anganwadi centers including private, government and semi-government centers in the districts will be kept closed on local holidays. Along with this, orders have also been issued to keep government establishments and institutions closed.
