Declaration of local holidays
A local holiday has been announced by Sanjeev Kumar Jha, Collector of Korba district in Chhattisgarh. An order has been issued for this. Three local holidays have been sanctioned.
- As per the order issued by the Collector, a local holiday has been declared in the district on Tuesday, September 19, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The benefits of which will be given to the students and teachers along with the employees.
- On Monday, October 23, on the occasion of Dussehra Mahanavami, government institutions including offices, schools and colleges will remain closed. A local holiday has been declared in the district.
- A holiday has been declared in Korba district on Monday, November 13, the second day of Diwali. During this period, schools, colleges and institutions including institute offices will be kept closed. The benefits of which will be available to students including teachers, staff and officers.
Announcement of local-public holiday in Raigad as well
Here, a local holiday has also been announced in Raigarh district. An order has been issued by the Collector for the benefit of two local holidays to the officers and employees of the district. Partial amendment was made in the leave order in Raigad district. Meanwhile, on the occasion of Govardhan Puja on Monday, November 13, a public holiday was declared instead of a voluntary holiday.

In partial amendment to the local holiday declared on Govardhan Puja on Tuesday, November 13, a local holiday has been declared on Tuesday, September 19, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. In such a situation, Ganesh Chaturthi has been declared a local holiday on September 19, 2023 in Raigad district. A public holiday has been declared on November 13 on account of Govardhan Puja.
