Employees Holidays: Important news for employees, ban on holidays, permission will have to be taken, instructions issued

Employees Holidays: There is important news for the government employees and officers of Chhattisgarh. Due to the budget session of Chhattisgarh Assembly, Sakti Collector has banned the holidays of employees and officers. In special circumstances, leave will be given with the permission of the Collector.

According to the order, now no employees and officers will get leave under this, however, in special circumstances, leave can be given on the instructions of the Collector. In the order, the Sakti Collector has also directed that all the officers and employees will be available on their mobile numbers, so that Employees can be called immediately if needed.

Chhattisgarh Assembly Budget Session 2024 will start from 5th February

The budget session of Chhattisgarh Assembly is starting from Monday 5th February. The budget for financial year 2024-25 will be presented on February 9. As Finance Minister, OP Choudhary will present his first budget on February 9. This time a total of 2171 questions have been asked both online and offline. The number of starred questions online is 1033 and the number of unstarred questions is 1034. While the total number of starred questions offline is 54 and the number of unstarred questions is 50.

Ban on holidays due to budget session in Himachal Pradesh too

  • Apart from Chhattisgarh, in Himachal Pradesh also, in view of the budget session starting from 14th February, the Education Department has banned the holidays of employees and officers from 5th to 29th February. In this regard, Director Higher Education Department, Dr. Amarjeet Sharma has issued a notification. The staff working under these officers will also not get leaves.
  • It says that officers and employees working under them can also be called during other holidays including Sundays. The employees and officers who will look after the work related to the assembly business will have to be present in the office daily from 8 am to 8 pm during the session.
  • The Directorate of Education has ordered all concerned officers that answers to all questions related to the department should be ready during the Assembly budget session. Officials should have all kinds of information. Information has been sought about how many posts of different categories of employees have been created, vacant and filled in the department, how many schools, colleges have been opened and inspected, what is the update so far on various schemes of the state government.
  • Orders have been given to cancel the leave of Additional Director, Joint Director, all Deputy Directors, Principals of all Government Colleges, Commander NCC and Chief Librarian Central State Library Solan, all Deputy Directors of Elementary Education, Principal Diet.
