Government is now going to promote the employees who were made permanent 10 years ago in Haryana. It is reported that the state government has decided to give the benefit of first promotion and assured career promotion to these employees from June 13. About 5 thousand employees will benefit from this.
Haryana Employees Promotion: There is good news for the government employees of Haryana. The Naib Saini government of the state is going to give promotion to the employees who were made permanent under the policy of 2014 after 10 years. The state government has decided to give the benefit of first promotion and assured career promotion to these employees from 13 June, however, for this they will have to follow some rules.
According to media reports, 10 years ago, the then Bhupendra Singh Hooda government had made about 5 thousand employees permanent under the policy of 2014 just before its departure, whom the Saini government is now going to promote. However, these promotions will be decided on the final decision of the Supreme Court. In this regard, the Human Resources Department has issued instructions to all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, managing directors and chief administrators of boards-corporations, registrars of Punjab and Haryana High Court, divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners.
5000 employees were made permanent in 2014, the policy was stopped from 2018
Actually, the previous Bhupendra Singh Hooda government had made 3 policies to make temporary employees permanent just before the Haryana assembly elections in the year 2014. The first policy was made on 18 June 2014, in which about 5000 employees who completed 3 years were made permanent. But due to non-compliance of the rules, the High Court put a stay on the regularization policy of 2014 in June 2018.
Along with this, the High Court had ordered the removal of all other employees working on contract along with the 5 thousand employees who were made permanent in 2016. After this, when the matter reached the Supreme Court in November 2018, orders were issued to maintain the status quo. After this, the state government put a stay on the promotion of these employees on 18 June 2020, the way for which now seems to be clear.
ACP benefits will be available with promotion
According to media reports, after 10 years, the Naib Saini government has decided to give promotion to the permanent employees under the 2014 policy. These employees will be given the benefit of first promotion and ACP from June 13. However, promotions will depend on the final decision of the Supreme Court. These employees will be eligible for promotion or the benefit of first ACP scale, provided they fulfill the eligibility conditions. However, the decision on promotion or the benefit of first ACP scale from the date of eligibility before June 13 will be taken later.
