Employees Salary: An important decision has been taken in the interest of the employees. Now fine will be charged from the departments that do not pay on time. Apart from this, penalty will be charged from the concerned department on delay in GST payment including ESIC and EPF. With this, EPF and ESIC will be paid on time along with timely salary to the employees.
Important notice for the employees of Uttarakhand. Upanal’s HD Brigadier JS Bisht said that many departments of the state are negligent in issuing honorarium to the employees. At the same time, ESIC along with EPF is not being paid to Upanal. In such a situation, now these departments will have to pay the penalty.
ESI, EPF and GST penalty will have to be paid
At the same time, the department employee will have to pay the penalty of ESI, EPF and GST. Penalty will be collected from the departments which delay in paying salaries. If an employee’s ESIC EPF is not deposited for 2 months, a penalty of 15% of the salary will be imposed and if it is not deposited for 6 months, a penalty of 25% of the salary will be imposed. If the department does not deposit the tax in GST by 15th, a penalty of up to 20% may have to be paid.
In this matter, Upanal HD says that some departments are not paying honorarium to the employees for three to four months. In this case the rules have been fixed. Guidelines have been sent to all departments. In which it was clarified that details of the employees’ attendance and honorarium budget should be provided and in case of delay in honorarium, financial penalty will be recovered from them.
