With the approval of the amount, arrears and pension along with salary will be paid at the rate of 42% dearness allowance in the account of teachers and employees. He has to be paid 6 months’ salary.
Employees Salary: Non teaching employees including teachers will soon be paid arrears including their salary pension. Funds have been allocated by the department for this. The salary amount has been calculated on the basis of 42 percent dearness allowance. Along with this, they will also be paid the amount of arrears along with dearness allowance from January to May.
An amount of Rs 2362 crore 27 lakh has been approved for salary and pension.
Under the financial year 2023-24, an amount of Rs 2362 crore 27 lakh has been approved for the salary and pension of the teachers and post-teacher employees of the University of Bihar. 1132 crore 5 lakh has been included by the education department for the salary item while an amount of Rs 1230 crore has been included for the pension item. Orders have also been issued for this.
In fact, the teachers and teaching staff of all the 13 traditional universities of the state will soon be paid the arrears including salary and pension. Under the year 2023-24, an amount of 2362 crore 27 lakh has been approved by the Education Department for their salary and pension. An order in this regard was also issued by the Education Department. In the issued order, the department has clarified that the salary amount has been calculated on the basis of 42% dearness allowance.
Payment of arrear amount including DA from January to May 2023
Tell that earlier the benefit of 38% DA was being given to the employees in the form of dearness allowance. At the same time, dearness allowance at the rate of 42% will be available to them along with the salary for the month of July. Earlier, from January to May 2023, the amount of arrears will be paid to them including an increase of four percent in their DA.
