Employees Pay Scale, Employees Time scale: There is good news for the employees. A big increase in their salary will be seen soon. They will get the benefit of fourth time scale pay scale. With this, an increase of up to Rs 14,000 can be seen in his salary. Orders have been issued on Monday. After 1 July 2023, the employees who have completed 35 years of service have to get its benefit.

Regular employees of Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of the fourth time scale. After getting the consent in the cabinet meeting, orders for this have been issued by the Finance Department. A maximum of Rs 14000 can be made available to the officer employees who have completed 35 years of service after July 1, 2023. Along with this, an increase in their pension amount will also be seen.

It may be mentioned that under the current rule, the employees of the state were given the benefit of the first, second and third time scale pay scale on completion of 10, 20 and 30 years of service. The officers of the State Administrative Service and Financial Services are getting the benefit of the scale of pay for the fifth time while the officers of Police Service and Forest Service are also getting the benefit of the scale of pay for the fifth and fourth time. Now the employees of the state will also be benefitted by this.

Calculation of service period of time scale pay scale

The period of service in the fourth time scale will be reckoned from the date of joining for the first time on a direct recruitment post through selection test. On the other hand, to get the higher pay scale tomorrow, it will be necessary for the employees to fulfill the rules and qualifications. These would be such qualifications and rules as would be prescribed for promotion as per the Service Recruitment Rules.

In addition to adding an increment to the existing pay scales, the highest pay scales would be available to the employees. In this, together with dearness allowance, the pay scale will be determined for the fourth time. In this case, the pay scale will be fixed separately for each category of employees and only the maximum grade pay of 8900 metric level 16 will be paid.

Officers and employees of such cadre who get the benefit of time scale pay scale under the specific scheme. They will have to take permission from the cabinet to get the benefit of the scheme. If an employee is getting a higher pay scale equal to the fourth time scale, then he will continue to get the present time scale.

Salary will increase so much

An increase of Rs 10 to 14 thousand can be seen in the salary of class I employees while an increase of Rs 6 to 8 thousand will be seen in the salary of class II employees. Class III employees will get a benefit of Rs 4 to 6 thousand, whereas an increase of Rs 2 to 4 thousand will be recorded in the salary of Class IV employees.

It may be mentioned that since 2016 the promotion has stopped in the state. The new rules have not even been made yet. As such, there were no opportunities for advancement for those who had completed more than 30 years of service. After which the Finance Department was instructed by the Chief Minister to prepare a plan. Now the Career Promotion Scheme has been approved. This has also been implemented. At the same time, due to this process, an additional financial burden of Rs 250 crore will be seen on the government.
