EPF Account Activate: Now you can activate pf account sitting at home, follow these steps

Why is correction in EPF account necessary?

EPF account is a better investment option than other schemes. Because, it gets more interest than other schemes. At present, 8.15 percent interest is being received on EPF. Therefore, if your money is also deposited in it, then it is important to keep matching your account details.

Follow the steps to update bank details

Step 1: Go to the EPFO Member e-SEWA website.

Step 2: Login to the UAN portal. To login to the UAN portal, you have to use the 12 digit UAN number in the User ID. It should be activated. Login by entering UAN number and password.

Let us tell you that EPF issues a Universal Account Number (UAN) to its account holder. From time to time, people working in the private sector keep changing their jobs, but even after changing the office, the UAN number does not change.

Step 3: After login to the UN portal, select your bank. Here you have to register bank account number, name and IFSC code.

Step 4: Save this information, all these details will be saved under Pending KYC section.

Step 5: Submit all the required documents.

Step 6: A message will come to verify from the bank. After the documents are verified, the pending KYC will be changed to digitally approved KYC.

Step 7: After this, the HR department of the company will update your bank account details with digital signature on the Employer PF portal. This process may take about two to three days to complete.
