How to check pf balance without internet, Here’s a Quick Step-by-Step Guide

EPF e-passbook facility down: Many users who were unable to view their passbooks online on the EPFO-specific portal reported that the facility to access and download Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) passbooks through the portal has not been functional for the past few days.

However, EPFO, on its website, has said that members can view their passbook on the UMANG app. According to the EPF website, “Member Passbook Service is accessible through UMANG App.”

How to view EPF passbook using UMANG app

Step 1: Download and open the UMANG app and log in to your account.

Step 2: Enter ‘EPFO’ in the search bar and click to search.

Step 3: Select ‘view passbook’ from the list of services.

Step 4: Enter your UAN number, OTP and submit the request.

Step 5: Select ‘member ID’ and download ePassbook.

How to check EPF balance by sending SMS

Sending an SMS to 7738299899 will provide you with information regarding your most recent contribution and PF balance if your UAN is registered with the EPFO. You must transmit the following message: EPFOHO UAN ENG. The desired language’s first three letters are “ENG.” Therefore, type EPFOHO UAN MAR to receive the message in Marathi.Make sure that your UAN is seeded with your bank account, Aadhaar, and PAN, or update the latest information.

How to check EPF balance using missed call

If you are registered on the UAN site, you can access the information by making a missed call from your registered mobile number to 011-22901406. Make sure your bank account information, Aadhaar, and PAN are seeded into your UAN. You might even request that your employer plant them for you. There is no charge for this service.

UMANG is the only official app where you can avail different services of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in a single app. The UMANG app allows users to check their PF balance, file a withdrawal claim, apply for UAN, check claim status, and apply for a Jeevan Pramaan certificate, among other things. Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) is a mobile app developed by the Government of India as part of the Digital India program of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to provide access to central and state government services.
