According to the report of the news website Hindustan, due to technical problems, it will take time for interest money to come into people’s accounts. On 31 December 2020, the central government had announced the EPF interest for the financial year 2019-2020 in the accounts of the people. Labor and Rogajar Minister Santosh Gangwar had issued a statement saying that the entire interest would be paid to the employees simultaneously. 1. First of all go to https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ . The UAN number, password and captcha code have to be submitted after the website is open.
2. On login, a new page will be opened where click on the Manage option. After this, mark is to choose on exit option. Then the Select Employment dropdown option will come.
3. Select the old PF account number. After that, the reason and date of leaving the job will have to be entered. In which three options will be given. Select the option and click Request OTP.
4. An OTP will appear on your registered mobile number, enter it and submit it.
5. On completion of the process, an SMS will be sent on the death PF account of the job leave.
