EPFO also keeps on providing information about the e-nomination facility to the people from time to time. It is very important to file your e-nomination to avail Provident Fund (PF), Pension (EPS) and Insurance (EDLI) services online.
People must file their nomination to take care of their wife, children and parents and to empower them through online PF, pension and insurance. You can file your e-nomination online by following some easy steps.
What is step by step process
You have to first visit the official website of EPFO www.epfindia.gov.in to file your nominee in the EPF account online. There you will get your UAN No. And login by entering the password. After this, you have to click on the tab of Manage and select the option of e-nomination. After this, the page that opens in front of you will see the complete information of the member such as name, UAN, date of birth. After that you have to enter your permanent and current address information and click on save option.
After this step, to update the family declaration, click on the option of YES and go to the option of Add family. There you will have to enter the details of the name, relationship, address, date of birth, and Aadhaar number of the nominee you want to make. You can enter the details of more than one nominee through the Add Row option. After this process, you can go to the nomination details and decide how much part of EPF should be given to which nominee. After this you have to click on the option of save nomination.
After this step, you will have to generate an OTP, for which you will have to click on the E-Sign tab. After this an OTP will come on your registered mobile number. Your e-nomination will be registered with EPFO as soon as you fill it.
