UAN: Can avail EPFO services using UAN. If you have forgotten your UAN, there are easy ways to recover it
EPF is managed by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). EPFO allots a Universal Account Number (UAN) to each EPF subscriber/member.
You can avail all EPFO services using your UAN. Even if you have forgotten your UAN, there is no need to worry. Here we are going to tell you easy ways to recover it.

The easiest way to know your UAN is to make a missed call. For this, a missed call has to be made from the registered mobile number on the EPFO portal.
All you have to do is give a missed call on 011-22901406. Within a few seconds you will receive a message from EPFO, which will contain the details of the member’s name, Aadhar number, UAN, account balance.
Make sure that your UAN is linked with your bank account number, Aadhaar and PAN.

You can also know your UAN through SMS, but before that you should ensure that your mobile number is registered on the UAN portal.
All you have to do is type EPFOHO UAN ENG and send it to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number. In a few seconds you will get the UAN and other details through a message from EPFO.
Remember though, ‘ENG’ is the first three letters of the preferred language. This feature is available in 10 languages English (default), Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Bengali.

If you want to know your UAN, you can visit https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/For_Employees.php.
Then click on Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP) on the left side of the screen under Service section. Now click on ‘Know Your UAN’. Then enter your registered mobile number and captcha and click on ‘Request OTP’.
Submit the OTP received on the mobile number by entering the given space once again by entering the captcha.
