In such a situation, it is expected that members may be given more time to apply for EPS.
Deadline extended three times
EPFO has extended three times the deadline for employees to apply for higher pension. However, employers have been given time till 30 September 2023 to upload member data. In such a situation, more time may be given to eligible pensioners. This time can be given keeping in mind the problems of the employees. If there are more issues under EPFO, the government can extend this time further.
It is best to consider this as the last chance
According to some experts, if you have not yet applied for higher pension, it is not right to wait for the deadline to be extended again. Because the deadline has already been extended three times. Apart from this, EPFO will now work on its process. In such a situation it is best to consider this as a last resort. If you are facing any problem in submitting online application for verification, you can contact the officials at EPFiGMS for solution.
