EPFO has informed through Twitter that account holders can now apply online for e-nomination. EPFO wrote on its Twitter handle, ‘Members fill e-nomination today for the social security of their family with these easy steps.’
These documents will be needed
Documents required for the member
1. Activated Aadhaar Linked UAN
2. The mobile number which is linked with Aadhar card
3. Updated profile of the member with photo and address.
Required documents of family members/nominee
1. Scanned photograph (in JPG format- size 3.5 cms X 4.5 cms).
2. Aadhar card.
3. Bank account number, IFSC code and home address.
Enter e-Nomination for such step-by-step EPFO account
- Go to EPFO website (www.epfindia.gov.in) >> Services >> For Employees >> Click on ‘Member UAN/Online service’.
- Now enter your UAN ID and Password to login.
- Now go to the manage page and click on e-nomination.
- Now the ‘Provide details’ tab will appear on the screen, enter all the required details and click on ‘Save’.
- In the next step, click on ‘Yes’ to update the family declaration.
- Now click on Add Family Details. (You can add more than one nominee here)
- After this, click on ‘Nomination details’ to declare the total amount of the nominee’s share out of the fund. Now press the button of ‘Save EPF Nomination’.
- After that click on ‘e-Sign’ to generate OTP on your registered number.
Now an OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked with your Aadhar card. Enter that OTP. After this your EPFO e-nomination will be registered.
