EPFO issued alert : For every PF member, his PF account or UAN account is very important and it is also very important to keep that PF / UAN account safe, because the employee’s hard earned money is deposited in the PF / UAN account. But nowadays some people are very vicious in the case of fraud, who cheat a lot of money from people.
EPFO Issued Alert
A warning is issued to all PF members from time to time by EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organization) and cautioned to avoid online fraud, currently EPFO has issued a similar alert on the passbook portal which states That-
- Please never respond to any call for sharing any personal details like Aadhaar, PAN, Bank details, OTP or request for any payment.
- EPFO never calls members/ pensioners to deposit any amount.
- Please do not make any payment based on any such call.
If you login on the Passbook Portal of EPFO , you will see a new alert message here. it means that –
- Do not answer any such call in which Aadhaar, PAN, Bank details, OTP or any payment is being requested.
- The EPFO never asks any EPF member or EPS-95 pensioner to deposit any amount through a phone call.
- Please do not make any payment on the basis of any such call.
