EPFO latest update: Now this online facility started in PF account, employees can sit at home and update

EPFO latest update: If you are a pensioner, then you can submit the life certificate from your nearest post office or postman post servant.

EPFO latest update: If you do job then obviously you have EPF account also. But if you had left the job or job suddenly, then in such a situation you can update the date of exit from your previous job or the date of leaving the job online. The EPFO, the organization that manages the provident fund, has shared this information on social media platforms. It has explained the online ways.

How to update Date of Exit online

• First of all, login to the Unified Member Portal https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ by giving UAN and password.
• On successful login, go to Manage and click on Mark Exit. Under the drop down, select PF Account Number from select employment.

Now Employees can also update their Date of exit.

• After this, now click on Date of Exit and Reason of exit. Then click on Request OTP and enter the one time password i.e. OTP on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Now select the check box.
• After this, click on update and click on OK. When you do this, your Date of Exit gets updated.

Facility to submit life certificate from home 

If you are a pensioner, you can submit the life certificate from your nearest post office or postman post servant. To take advantage of this facility, visit the website http://ccc.cept.gov.in/covid/request.aspx.

Avoid unnecessary crowd/standing in queue.
Submit your Jeevan Pramaan from Home.

Here select IPPB under the Services tab and then under the IPPB Service type tab choose Jeevan Certification Generation. This will save you from standing in line and will also save your precious time. Life certificate can be given by the pensioner throughout the year.
