New Delhi: Most of the employees invest in EPF account to secure their future. The amount deducted from your salary as provident fund is deposited in two accounts, first EPF and second pension fund i.e. EPS.

When can you withdraw money from PF account

If you have invested in a PF account while working for five years, then you can withdraw money from your account with some conditions.

You can also withdraw money from the PF account for the treatment of yourself, your wife, children or parents.

You can withdraw up to 90 per cent from the PF account to buy land or a house for the house.

You can withdraw up to 50 percent from your PF account for your or your child’s marriage.

If you have left the job, you can withdraw up to 75 percent of your PF account after one month. You can withdraw the remaining 25 percent after two months.

If you withdraw some amount from the PF account within five years while doing the job, then you will have to pay tax on this amount.

How to withdraw money from PF account

Now you do not have to go to the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) office to withdraw money from your PF account. Now you can complete this process by sitting at home.

You have to visit mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ website.

After this, you will have to enter your UAN number, password and captcha code.

After this, you have to click on the option of ‘Manage’. After this, you will also have to check whether your PF account has been KYC or not.

After this, you have to go to the section of ‘Online Services’ and click on the option of CLAIM (FORM-31, 19 and 10C).

After this, you have to click on the option of ‘Proceed For Online Claim’ to submit your claim form.
