New Delhi: If you are a member of Employees Pension Scheme (EPS) by EPFO and want to get more pension, then EPFO has come up with an application to increase pension contribution. EPFO has given the option of online application to EPS members to get more pension. For this, EPFO has issued a dedicated portal link. The last date to apply is fast approaching, so apply as soon as possible.
The Supreme Court had ordered EPFO in November 2022 to allow eligible EPS members to contribute more for higher pension. After this, EPFO has given the option of joint option to applicants and employers on the portal for online application in February 2023.
Last date of application will not extend further
The last date for online application for Higher Pension (EPS Higher Pension Deadline) is 26 June 2023. EPFO has extended the last date twice, but now there is no possibility of further extension. Let us inform that EPFO has extended the last date of application fixed earlier on May 3 to June 26, 2023. Even before this, EPFO had extended the last date of March 3 to May 3.
