Every month a fixed amount is deposited in the PF account from the salary of these employees. EPFO has modernized very rapidly in the last several years. Many facilities of EPFO have also become digital. It has the facility to know the very important PF balance. Now PF subscribers can check PF balance sitting at home.
However, till now EPFO subscribers had to use the UAN number to know the PF balance. But EPFO has told in the latest update that members can check their PF or EPF balance without UAN. EPFO subscribers need to log on to the EPFO home page – epfindia.gov.in and follow some easy steps.
- Account holders need to login to the EPFO home page
- Here you have to click on the button ‘Click Here to Know Your PF Balance’.
- Now EPFO members will be redirected to a new page, in which the users will have to fill the necessary information.

- Log on to the home page of EPFO - epfindia.gov.in.
- Click on the button ‘Click to Know Your PF Balance’
- You will be redirected to a new page – epfoservices.in.epfo;
- Enter your state, EPF office, establishment code, PF account number and other details;
- Click on the acknowledgment button and ‘I agree’ option
- Your PF or EPF balance will be displayed on your computer monitor or CL phone monitor
Check pf balance with uan number
However, if the EPFO subscriber has a UAN number, he can check PF balance through SMS or missed call service. PF balance check through SMS can be done by sending SMS from one’s registered mobile number to 7738299899. For this, you have to message ‘EPFOHO UAN’ in the message box. Customer can check PF balance by giving missed call on 011-22901406 from anyone’s register number.
