How to update your date
- First go to Unified Member Portal
- Click on https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
- Now click here by entering UAN number and password
- Go to Manage Option and Click on Mark Exit
- Now select PF Account Number from Select Employment in the dropdown
- Now enter date of exit and reason for exit
- Click on Request OTP, now OTP will be sent to your number, enter it
- Now the chat box has to be selected
- Then click on update option
- After doing this your date will be updated
Why is it necessary to update the date of exit?
Let us tell you that if you have changed jobs and have not updated the date of exit, then you may face problems in withdrawing or transferring funds from your PF account. However, now this facility has been given to the employee.
