The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has allowed beneficiaries to seek health services in any nearby private hospital in case of emergency.

There is such an outbreak of corona in the country that there is no place in hospitals. There is an atmosphere like chaos on every side.

In this environment, apart from the corona, patients who are suffering from common diseases also have a crisis of treatment. In the present situation, patients of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) are also facing a lot of problems. However, the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has allowed beneficiaries to seek health services in any nearby private hospital in case of emergency.

First rule: Previously the insured person and the beneficiary (family member) had to first go to the ESIC hospital or hospital for treatment in the empaneled or out-of-hospital hospitals. From there he was again referred to. This means to say that now if there is an emergency like situation then you can also go to your nearest private hospital.

This decision has been taken in emergency medical cases such as heart attack. A heart attack requires immediate treatment. This treatment is under the purview of ESIC insurance. However, the ESIC subscriber will have to pay the treatment expenses in private hospitals immediately but claim tax can be obtained later.

Its treatment rates are in line with Central Government Health Service (CGHS) rates. At the same time, the treatment will be ‘cashless’ in the empaneled hospitals of ESIC.

Second rule: Now it is easier for ESIC insured women to avail insurance benefits. Recently, the conditions for availing the disease have been relaxed. ESIC has announced to liberalize the terms of contribution of insured women to avail sickness benefits. With this, ESIC has decided to improve the supply of services under its Health Insurance Scheme and establish more hospitals.

Let us tell you that for the health benefits of low income employees, the Union Ministry of Labor has provided an insurance scheme. Its name is Employees State Insurance Scheme. This benefits the employees working in private companies or factories etc., whose salary is less.
