Delhi-Meerut Expressway: Vehicles will run without any hindrance on Delhi-Meerut Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway. NHAI has started the repair work of Eastern Peripheral. NHAI has asked the concerned firm to work with quality. At the same time, Meerut Expressway is also being repaired near Dasna.

The Eastern Peripheral Expressway is 135 km long from Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal. The six-lane expressway passes through Baghpat, Ghaziabad and Noida. This expressway is connecting to the Western Peripheral Expressway near Palwal. Questions have been raised many times on the quality of the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Vehicles cannot run at high speed on the expressway. Vehicles start jumping as soon as they move at high speed. Due to this, there is a fear of accidents.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had also expressed his displeasure by raising questions on the repair work of Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Ghaziabad recently. On this, he had warned of action against the officials and the concerned firm. After this, NHAI started the repair work.

NHAI Project Director Dheeraj Singh said that the repair work will be completed soon. He said that a notice has also been issued to the concerned firm for not getting the work done properly earlier. He claimed that after the completion of the repair work, vehicles will be able to run at the prescribed speed. Roads are being repaired in Sonipat, Baghpat, Ghaziabad and Palwal areas.

At the same time, vehicles jerk when driven fast on Meerut Expressway. In view of this, the expressway is being repaired. All those places are being identified where vehicles jerk. In the same sequence, Meerut Expressway is being repaired near Dasna.

Vehicles will be able to run at full speed

After the repair work on both the expressways is completed, vehicles will be able to run at full speed. Drivers will be able to drive at the prescribed speed. Drivers will not face any problem in this. Let us tell you that the speed of vehicles on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway is 120 km per hour. Whereas the prescribed speed of vehicles on the Meerut Expressway is 100 km per hour.
