Fake 100/200 Rupee Notes: In today’s time, such notes have come that you will not be able to differentiate between real and fake. Fake notes of 100 and 200 have come in the market. These are also going from one hand to another. Due to the notes being of 100 or 200, people are not paying attention whether it is real or fake. In such a situation, today we will know from the experts how to identify the 100 note as real or fake?
The team of Local18 first talked to people about the identification of 100 note. In such a situation, the reaction of the people was very surprising. Prem Prakash said that today he came to know for the first time that the 100 note is also fake. He said that he identifies the real and fake by looking at the note whether it is thick or thin. At the same time, Ashwini Ghai said that if any note comes in his hands, then the first thing he looks at is the watermark. In the 100 note, 100 is written in the watermark along with the picture of Mahatma Gandhi. He said that there is a difference in the paper of fake and real notes. Apart from this, many people said that they do not have any special knowledge about identifying notes. They do look at the big notes carefully. But in today’s fast paced life, people keep the small notes in their pockets without looking at them.
Experts told the right way to identify notes
Jitendra Kumar, bank officer of Jharkhand State Rural Bank Palamu, told Local18 that it is very easy to identify whether a 100 rupee note is real or fake. But only those who pay attention to it can identify it. Because those who print fake notes can copy it completely. But it becomes very difficult to copy the strip on the note.
The first way to identify
He further said that first of all you can know whether these notes are real or fake by holding the note in your hands. Because fake notes are made from poor quality paper. Which gets spoiled and leaves color when folded. At the same time, fake notes are very thin compared to real notes. The quality of paper of real notes is very good. No matter how much you fold or rub it, but the thing written on it never gets erased.
The second method is very important
He said that the second method of identifying the note is that the real 100 rupee note has a strip. Which looks green when viewed from the front and blue when viewed from the side. Whereas if you look at the strip of the fake 100 rupee note from any angle, it will look green.
This is the third method related to RBI
The third way to identify a 100 rupee note is that “RBI and Bharat” is written in small font on the strip. Which does not change when rubbed against each other. On the other hand, “RBI and Bharat” are written in bold font in fake notes. Which get erased when rubbed.
He also said that many times the spelling of Reserve Bank of India is also wrong in fake notes. By which you can identify whether this note is real or fake. These are such methods which clearly tell the difference between real and fake notes. Because the people who print fake notes make a copy of the rest of the things.
