Farmers Protest: converted into Singhu Border Fort after skirmish, no one is allowed to visit the demonstration site

Farmers Protest: After the skirmish on the Singhu border, security has been increased there and the entire Indus border has been converted into a fort. This afternoon, there was a fierce clash between the farmers involved in the Farmers’ Protest here and the crowd gathered to end the movement, after which the police had to use police lathi charge using force there. The police also released teargas shells to control the crowd, after which there is a tense situation.

Before the lathi charge, there was fierce stonewalling among the farmers and locals. Farmers have been frozen on the Singhu border against the agricultural law, but the anger of the local people has been sparked by the fact that the people involved in the peasant movement cut a lot of ruckus in Delhi on 26 January.

The local people have alleged that we also had support for the farmers movement, but now this movement has become the base of anti-social elements, so the locals started uprooting the farmers’ tents by raising the slogan to empty the border. After which there was a scuffle in both the sides and the matter reached stonewalling.

When the situation started becoming uncontrollable, the police charged sticks. Before that the police tried to control the crowd, in which many policemen were also hurt. A boy also attacked the SHO with a sword, injuring him. Right now the situation is under control on the Singhu border, but the locals are still standing and shouting slogans.

Significantly, after the emotional cry of farmer leader Rakesh Tikait last night, the farmers movement has revived and thousands of farmers are reaching Ghazipur border. There will also be a mahapanchayat of farmers in Muzaffarnagar, after which the movement and the attitude of farmers will be clear.
