Farmers Protest: Farmer leader said – If the Supreme Court orders, the rally will not be held on January 26

There is another round of talks on Friday between the farmers’ organizations and the central government regarding the new agricultural laws. The farmers are adamant on the return of all three laws. He has announced a Tractor rally on Republic Day on 26 January. On this, Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), said on Friday that if the Supreme Court gives the order, the farmers will withdraw this rally on Republic Day and it will be held on another day.




Tikait had earlier said that the farmers would take out a procession from the Red Fort to India Gate and hoist the national flag on the Amar Jawan Jyoti on Republic Day. During this, BKU national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait also said that the law has been brought by Parliament and it will end there. The government needs to draft a plan to repeal the three laws and provide legal guarantees for the MSP. Tikait said that it is better to negotiate with the government rather than the committee formed on the order of the Supreme Court.

Let us know that since 26 November, farmers have been protesting against the three new agricultural laws of the Center on the Delhi border. To resolve the deadlock, eight rounds of talks have been held between the central government and the farmers’ organizations so far. Today the ninth round of talks is taking place. There is no significant success so far. On 8 January, the eighth round of meetings took place. Subsequently, the Supreme Court, during the hearing on January 11, stayed the implementation of the three laws till further orders and appointed a four-member panel to resolve the deadlock. The Indian Farmers Union president Bhupinder Singh Mann on Thursday distanced himself from the apex court-appointed committee.
