There is anarchy of farmer leaders that farmers were ignored in Budget 2021-22. The government has reduced the allocation of agriculture sector in this budget.
Farmers ‘Protest: Farmers’ organizations, protesting against the agricultural laws, have decided to jam the countrywide drive on 6 February. Farmers’ organizations have decided to stop internet services at the sites of picketing, to take this step to protest against the alleged harassment from the administration. Farmer leaders informed in a press conference held on Monday on the Singhu border that they will close the roads from 12 noon to 3 pm on Saturday.
Let me tell you, the demonstration of farmer organizations has been going on for two months on the borders with Delhi. Farmer leaders are adamant on the demand for withdrawal of agricultural laws from the central government. The government has taken a tough stand after the violence, nuisance and insult of the tricolor at the Red Fort on January 26 in the tractor rally of farmers’ organizations. More than 350 policemen were injured in this disturbance. Whereas, one farmer died due to tractor overturning.
Unseen in budget

Electricity, water stopped at the strike site
Farmer leaders allege that electricity, water have been stopped at the picket site. Mobile toilet has also been removed. The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) of the Dharnarat farmer organizations also alleges that the Twitter account of Kisan Ekta Morcha and a user has been stalled on the tractor 2 tweeter. Swaraj Abhiyan leader Yogendra Yadav says that action has been taken on the Twitter account on the instructions of the government. Some personal accounts have also been blocked.
Balbir Singh Rajewal, part of SKM and farmer leader of Punjab, said that after consulting all the organizations, it has been decided to jam the wheel on February 6 unanimously. Rajewal claimed that the police have detained many people, an FIR was also registered against them.

Agricultural loan target increased by 10%
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in a budget speech on Monday, has committed to farmers welfare, raising the target of agricultural loan allocation by 10 percent to Rs 16.5 lakh crore. Along with this, Agri Infra Cess has also been announced so that the post-harvest infrastructure can be improved to increase the income of farmers.
