Most of the banks are bringing their banking services on WhatsApp. In this order, the bank is offering the facility of buying Fastag via NetBanking, portal, Google Pay and its iMobile app.
New Delhi: It is going to be mandatory to impose Fastag on vehicles, as it will be deducted from this tax only on the toll plaza from next month. In such a situation, if you have not yet taken Fastag, then you can also order it through WhatsApp while sitting at home. ICICI bank, the country’s leading private bank, has started this facility.
Bank has given option
Now most people use WhatsApp. In such a situation, most of the banks are bringing their banking services on WhatsApp. In this order, the bank is offering the facility of buying Fastag via NetBanking, portal, Google Pay and its iMobile app.

Here’s how to order Fastag from WhatsApp
Send ‘Hi’ to WhatsApp on 8640086400
• Select option 3 – ‘ICICI Bank FASTag services’
• Select option 3 again – ‘Apply for a new tag’
• Then you will be given a link which will redirect you to ICICI Fastag application page
• Fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents.
• Once payment is made, your order will be processed and Fastag will be sent to your address.
Once achieved Fastag, the tag can be reloaded with online funds using the bank’s Internet Banking, UPI, NEFT platforms or by visiting www.icicibank.com/fastag .
This is how you can order through Google Pay
• Open on Google and click ‘ICICI Bank FASTag’ under ‘Businesses’
• Click on ‘Buy new FASTag’
• Enter your PAN details, RC copy, vehicle number and address
• Verify your mobile number through OTP Do and proceed with
payment • Once payment is made, your order will be processed and Fastag will be delivered to your address.
Make bookings through iMobile Pay App
• Download the iMobile Pay app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store
• Log in to the app
• Click on ‘Shop’ and then choose option ‘FASTag’
• Click on ‘Buy New’ and enter your vehicle details
• Details Confirm and proceed with
payment • Once payment is made, your order will be processed and Fastag will be sent to your address.
ICICI Bank Internet Banking
• Login to your ICICI Bank Internet Banking account
• Click on ‘Payments & Transfer’, then click on ‘Buy / Recharge FASTag’
• Fill in the required details and proceed with the
payment • Once the payment is made, process your order. Will be done and fastag will be sent to your address
