FASTag Rule: Now double toll tax will be charged on showing fastag manually at this toll booth

RBI's new rule regarding recharge of FASTag, now there will be no need to recharge FASTag again and again

FASTag Rule: An order was issued by the National Highway Management Company Limited three days ago that Fastag must be installed on the windscreen of the vehicle. Drivers who do not do so will be charged double the toll tax.

FASTag Rule: From today, double toll tax will be charged from those drivers who show FASTag manually at Badarpur toll plaza connecting Delhi to Faridabad. Actually, there is a rule to put FASTag on the windscreen of the car, but some drivers show the FASTag sticker manually instead of putting it on the windscreen and get the toll tax deducted. This slows down the speed of vehicles at the toll plaza.

At present, the toll plaza management is making such drivers aware. Three days ago, an order was issued by the National Highway Management Company Limited, an associate company of NHAI (National Highway Authority of India), that Fastag must be installed on the windscreen of the vehicle. Drivers who do not do so will be charged double the toll tax. After this order, preparations have been started to follow this order at the Badarpur toll plaza of the city from Saturday.

Notice also pasted: A notice has also been pasted at the toll plaza to give information about this order. From Monday, toll plaza workers will start collecting double toll tax from such drivers. Toll tax workers said that drivers paying toll tax with fast tag in their hands keep coming to the toll plaza every day. Due to such drivers, vehicles start crawling at the toll plaza. This creates problems for other drivers at the toll plaza.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the drivers who use Fastag properly, it has been decided to charge double the toll tax from the drivers who carry Fastag sticker in their hands.

On the other hand, a toll worker said that some people are exempted for some reason. Some such people carry stickers in their hands. At the same time, policemen have also been seen paying toll in this way at the toll plaza many times.

80 thousand vehicles pass through Badarpur toll

On an average, 80 thousand vehicles pass through Badarpur toll plaza in 24 hours. There is a crowd of vehicles here in the morning and evening. If one or two people start paying toll with Fastag in their hands amidst the crowd of vehicles, then it creates a problem of jam here. On the other hand, some such drivers also come to the toll plaza, who keep some object on the Fastag to avoid Fastag.

Drivers will have to lighten their pockets here

Faridabad is surrounded by toll tax booths on all sides. Drivers will have to lighten their pockets on Gurugram-Faridabad Expressway, Sohna-Ballabhgarh, Delhi-Agra Highway, KGP (Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal) DND-KMP Expressway (this expressway will be toll tax free from the city to Delhi), Green Field Expressway being built for the international airport of Jewar.
