Sangeeta Dubey (West Bengal’s sangeet dubey) told that before Lohri (lohri 2021) she went to the market to get sesame jaggery. During this time his father-in-law asked him to take the lottery ticket. Although Sangeeta is not at all interested in the lottery, she bought a ticket at the father-in-law’s behest.
On January 15, when the draw of lottery came out, Sangeeta’s name was on top of it. After listening to the news of lottery of 2.5 crores, Sangeeta could not believe for two days.
In a conversation with Zee Media, Sangeeta Dubey said that she is a common housewife and teaches drawing to children. He said that two and a half crore rupees meant a lot to him and his father-in-law and brother-in-law were most happy when lottery came out.Sangeeta said that when she started taking lottery tickets, she had options in other states along with Punjab but she chose Punjab’s lottery ticket. She told that she never visited Punjab or Chandigarh before. But now she has a deep connection with Punjab.

Harjeet Singh, an officer of the Punjab Lottery Department, said that for the New Year Lottery Bumper 2021, he had made eight lottery tickets, in which more than 5,44,000 people bought tickets. This time a bumper was not confined to Punjab, but in West Bengal, Sikkim and other states, this lottery bumper was issued. He told that there are 2 winners with 2 crores. One is from Zirakpur, the other is Sangeeta Dubey from West Bengal.
