At the same time, the state-run Punjab National Bank has also changed the FD interest rates. The new PNB FD rates have come into effect from 1 May 2021. Punjab National Bank is offering interest ranging from 3% to 5.25% on FDs up to Rs 2 crore for a period of 7 days to 10 years. Explain that a fixed deposit can earn profits in the form of interest by depositing a lump sum for a fixed period.
