Shriram Finance Limited (SFL) has increased the fixed deposit interest from 0.05 percent to 0.20 percent. The new interest rates have come into effect from April 9.

New Delhi. If you want to get tremendous interest on Fixed Deposits, then Shriram Finance Limited (SFL) is giving a big opportunity. Shriram Finance Limited, one of India’s largest retail NBFCs, has increased the interest rates on fixed deposits. This NBFC has increased the interest on fixed deposits from 0.05 percent to 0.20 percent.

According to a press release from the NBFC, the new interest rates have come into effect from April 9. The potential return has now reached 9.40 percent per annum.

Senior citizens and women benefit more

For senior citizens aged 60 years and above, additional interest of 0.50 percent per year will be paid. Women depositors will be paid additional interest of 0.10 percent per year. Apart from this, Shriram Finance Limited is offering additional interest of 0.25 per cent per annum on all renewals of FD.

Deposit Option

Minimum investment starts from Rs 5,000 and deposits are accepted in multiples of Rs 1,000. Both cumulative and non-cumulative deposit options are available, providing flexibility in interest payments ranging from monthly to annual.

How to apply Shriram Fixed Deposit

  • Register using your mobile number.
  • Enter investment amount, tenure and PAN details.
  • Complete your payment and proceed to enter your KYC and bank details.
  • Get acknowledgment of fixed deposit.
