New Delhi: State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the last date for retail investors to invest in its special FD scheme ‘Amrit Kalash’. This is a good opportunity for investors to make profit because of the high interest rate with guarantee on this investment plan. SBI offers the highest interest on this investment FD scheme as compared to other FDs.
According to SBI’s website, the last date for investment in Amrit Kalash, a special FD scheme with a tenure of 400 days, was fixed on June 30, which the bank has now extended till August 15, 2023. With this decision of the bank, investors have got another chance to earn more profits.
Amrit Kalash FD Interest Rate
According to the SBI website, the bank has offered 7.10 per cent interest to common citizens on the special FD scheme Amrit Kalash.
At the same time, the bank has announced an interest rate of 7.60 percent to senior citizens on this 400-day FD scheme. Amrit Kalash Special FD Scheme
Interest Payment of Amrit Kalash Investors are paid the interest rate on maturity.
The interest rate after TDS is credited to the customer’s account.
Withdrawal
According to the SBI website, if the FD amount is withdrawn prematurely, a penalty of 0.50% to 1% can be imposed on the interest rate applicable at the time of deposit.
Interest rate on other FDs of SBI
State Bank of India offers interest rates between 3% to 7% on FD schemes for ordinary citizens with an investment of less than 2 crores. Whereas, senior citizens are offered an interest rate of 3.50% to 7.50% on FDs.
