FD Rate: Good News! This company is giving interest up to 8.85% on FD, also discount on loan

Bajaj Finance has started the system of FD. Under this, if you make FD through the company’s app or website, you will get interest up to 8.85 percent. Bank of Maharashtra has reduced the interest on home loans by 0.15 percent.

Non-banking financial company (NBFC) Bajaj Finance has started the provision of fixed deposits (FD) through digital medium. Under this, if you make FD through the company’s app or website, you will get interest up to 8.85 percent. Bajaj Finance said in a statement on Wednesday that the company will offer interest up to 8.85 percent per annum to senior citizens on FD for a period of 42 months through Bajaj Finserv app and website. This scheme has become effective from January 2, 2024.

At the same time, depositors below 60 years of age can take annual interest up to 8.60 percent. It said the revised rates will be applicable to new deposits and renewals of completed deposits up to Rs 5 crore for a period of 42 months.

Sachin Sikka, Head of Fixed Deposits and Investments, Bajaj Finance, said, “Our offering across FDs now enables depositors to think digitally. In this, the facility of higher interest is available especially on FD through Bajaj Finserv App and Web.

Lower interest on home loan

Meanwhile, public sector Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) has reduced the interest on home loans by 0.15 per cent to 8.35 per cent. Interest has been reduced as part of the New Year offer to customers. Bank of Maharashtra said in the statement that the processing charges for home loans have also been reduced.

What the bank said: On this, the bank said that the dual benefit of low interest rate and waiver of charges in home loan is a testament to the bank’s commitment to provide better financing solutions to all its customers and help them meet their needs. In the current high interest rate scenario, the bank is making retail loans cheaper to make things easier for the customers.
