Banks also keep launching new FD schemes to attract customers. State Bank of India is also running many special fixed deposits. One such special FD is ‘SBI Amrit Vrishti FD’. This special FD was launched this year itself. The bank is giving 7.25% annual interest to the general customer on this FD of 444 days. At the same time, 7.75% annual interest is being given to senior citizens.
The special thing is that you can invest in SBI Amrit Vrishti FD even from home. That is, you do not even need to go to the branch. You can buy this FD through net banking and SBI YONO app. You also have the option of investing in this special FD by visiting the bank branch. Investment in SBI Amrit Vrishti FD can be made till March 31, 2025.
You can make FD for 7 days to 10 years
State Bank of India provides FDs of various tenures to its customers. In India’s largest bank, you can make FDs for tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years. The interest rates of FDs of different tenures are also different. SBI is giving interest ranging from 3.50% to 4.00% on FDs of tenures ranging from 7 to 45 days. 5.50% to 6.00% interest is being given on FDs of tenures ranging from 46 to 179 days, 6.25% to 6.75% on FDs of tenures ranging from 180 to 210 days and 6.50% to 7.00% on FDs of tenures ranging from 211 to less than 1 year.
6.80% to 7.30% interest is being given on FDs with tenure of 1 year to less than 2 years, 7.00% to 7.50% on FDs with tenure of 2 years to less than 3 years, 6.75% to 7.25% on FDs with tenure of 3 years to less than 5 years and 6.50% to 7.50% on FDs with tenure of 5 years to 10 years.
SBI is also running Amrit Kalash scheme
State Bank of India (SBI) is also running a special fixed deposit (FD) scheme Amrit Kalash. Under this scheme, senior citizens are being given 7.60% annual interest on FD and general customers are being given 7.10% annual interest. In this fixed deposit scheme, investment has to be made for 400 days.
