Flights Cancel: Big News! International flights will be canceled from 8 to 10 September? Delhi airport’s statement came

The VVIP movement will increase in Delhi for the summit from September 7, as US President Joe Biden is coming to India on this day. Meanwhile, the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said on Saturday that it has received applications from airlines for cancellation of several flights from September 8 to September 10 in view of the G-20 summit. These include 80 departure flights and the same number of arrival flights. Earlier it was reported that airlines are canceling flights due to traffic restrictions due to the G-20 summit.

In a statement, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) spokesperson said, “We would like to assure the passengers that there is adequate parking space for aircraft at Delhi Airport. Around 80 departures and 80 arrivals in three days (September 8 to 10).” Requests for cancellation of domestic flight arrivals have come in. These numbers account for only 6 per cent of normal domestic operations at Delhi airport, while international flights will not be affected by these restrictions.

In view of the G-20 summit, due to the VVI movement in Delhi, the government has declared a holiday from 8 to 10 September for government, private and MCD schools, colleges and universities. Traffic diversion has been done on many routes. Some metro stations and markets will also remain closed.

Apart from the essential service, the movement of buses has also been banned.

Apart from essential services during the G-20 summit, there will be a ban on the movement of buses. Other courts including the Supreme Court will also remain closed on this day. According to the notification of the government, all the banks will also remain closed on this day. According to the order of the Government of India, it has been decided to keep the central government office in Delhi closed from 8 to 10 September 2023. Apart from this, according to the notification of Delhi Secretariat, many commercial establishments will also remain closed.
