Flights Cancelled: Big Update! Akasa Air canceled flights due to bad weather, for refund you will have to call this number

Flights Affected due to bad weather: Severe cold continued in North India including the national capital Delhi on Sunday morning, during which the minimum temperature fell to 3.5 degrees Celsius, which is the lowest temperature this winter. Dense fog was seen in many parts. This has also affected flights. Air Asaka has canceled many of its flights to Varanasi. Apart from this, due to poor visibility, SpiceJet flights from Delhi to Amritsar, Jammu, Varanasi, Gorakhpur will also be affected.

Akasa Air canceled these flights to Varanasi

Akasa Air tweeted and wrote, ‘Due to bad weather (fog) in Varanasi, many flights have been canceled on January 14. The canceled flights include Bengaluru-Varanasi (QP 1698), Varanasi-Mumbai (QP 1497), Mumbai-Varanasi (QP 1491), Varanasi-Bengaluru (QP 1424). Air Akasa said in its tweet, ‘We understand that this may affect your travel plans and we apologize for the inconvenience.’

Akasa Air wrote in a tweet regarding the refund, ‘You can request for a refund for your existing booking by calling our Akasa Care Center number +91 9606112131. Apart from this, you can book alternative available flights at no extra cost by calling the customer care centre. SpiceJet wrote on X, ‘Due to poor visibility, flights to Delhi, Amritsar, Jammu, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Patna, Bagdogra, Darbhanga, Guwahati and Tej will be affected.

Nine flights were diverted at Delhi airport on Sunday morning due to bad weather. They were sent to Jaipur between 4:30 am and 10:30 am. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has advised people to avoid unnecessary travel and exercise caution while driving. Visibility was recorded at zero meter at 5 am at Palam Observatory near Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
