New Delhi: Due to dense fog in Delhi, many international and domestic flights have been delayed. According to officials, so far 11 international and five domestic flights have been delayed. If a similar blanket of dense fog is seen in Delhi in the future, there may be further delay in flight operations in the coming days. The weather department said the minimum temperature was recorded at 14 degrees Celsius in Palam near the airport.
News agency ANI reported that amid the harsh cold, several people were seen taking shelter in a night shelter in AIIMS in south Delhi. Similar scenes were seen elsewhere too, where homeless people were huddled under heavy blankets and quilts in night shelters in Lodhi Road area. The mercury may fall further in Delhi in the coming days. In such a situation, if the fog increases further around the airport, there may be problems in the operation of planes in the future.
