- Login to the website https://uidai.gov.in/.
- Now go to My Aadhaar Portal appearing on the homepage.
- Login here using the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- Now check your details and if it is correct, tick the correct box.
- If the demographic information is incorrect, select the identity document from the drop-down menu.
- Then upload the document. This document can be uploaded in the form of JPEG, PNG and PDF.
You will have to go to the center for these updates
As told, the facility of free Aadhaar update is available only online. By going to the Aadhaar center, you will have to pay the prescribed fee for any kind of update in the Aadhaar card.
