Delhi government has announced free coaching. Students will be prepared for CUET, NEET UG and other entrance exams without any fees. This will start in April.
Delhi Free Coaching: Delhi government has taken a big step in the interest of students. It has been announced to provide free coaching for NEET UG, CUET and other entrance exams. In this regard, the government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Big and Physics Wala coaching institute. 1 lakh 63 thousand school students will benefit from this scheme.
Under the MoU between the Director of Education of Delhi Government and Big and Physics Wala, 180 hours of free coaching will be given to the students for 30 days. Free online classes will be run for 3 hours every day. Its purpose is to prepare students for college entrance exams. Interested students can become a part of this scheme. They can prepare for the exam without any fees.
What did CM Rekha Gupta say?
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “An MoU has been signed to provide 30 days of exclusive free online coaching to students. This will pave the way for their admission in medical colleges and central universities. This initiative will benefit 1,63,000 students of Delhi government schools.” She further said, “It is important to ensure that more and more students can qualify for prestigious entrance exams through these classes.”
Till when can you avail the benefits of free coaching?
Free coaching will start from April 2. Students will be able to avail its benefits till May 2, 2025. Subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and General Aptitude will be taught during the online class. This benefits those students who are deprived of better educational opportunities due to financial constraints.
Students get free coaching in many states
Apart from Delhi, many other states are providing free coaching for entrance exams. The National Testing Agency also runs online classes for CUET, NEET, JEE etc. exams to students through the SATHEE platform. At the same time, the Bihar government is providing free coaching under the Super 50 scheme. The governments of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, UP and Himachal Pradesh have already started such schemes.
