While reading the budget, she said that Rs 425 crore will be spent for drinking water in rural areas. 1000 tube wells and water connections will be installed in two lakh houses so that the people of the state do not face drinking water crisis in the future. Works worth more than Rs 425 crore will be done.
Rajasthan’s Finance Minister Diya Kumari is presenting the budget in the assembly. In this budget, the focus is on drinking water, solar, electricity, rural development and road connectivity.
While reading the budget, Diya Kumar announced the Chief Minister’s Urban Water Life Mission. She said that under the CM Water Life Mission, drinking water connections will be installed in two lakh houses, one thousand tube wells and 1500 hand pumps. She has announced to increase the free electricity units from 100 to 150.
Rs 425 crore will be spent on rural development
The Finance Minister said that Rs 425 crore will be spent for drinking water in rural areas. Implementation of 58 percent of the promises of the public manifesto and 73 percent of the budget announcements has been ensured. To ensure that the people of the state do not face drinking water crisis in the coming time, 1000 tube wells and water connections will be installed in two lakh houses. Works worth more than Rs 425 crore will be done.
Free solar will be installed: Finance Minister
At the same time, to make the state self-reliant in the energy sector, production of more than 6000 megawatt has been announced and it has been said that free solar will be installed in the houses of those who are getting free electricity. Community solar plants will be installed for those who do not have space for a solar plant at home. It has been announced to increase the free electricity from 100 units to 150 units. And it has also been announced that contract employees will be recruited on 1050 posts.
Ring roads to be built in 15 cities
She has announced ROB state, highways, bridges, repairs, stressing on repairing the roads. Works worth Rs 5000 crore will be done in the coming year.
The Finance Minister has proposed the construction of ring roads in 15 cities including Balotra, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Sikar, Banswara and DIG for road safety and smooth arrival, while providing relief from the pressure of heavy traffic in the major cities of the state. There is a provision of Rs 50 crore for making DPR for this. Also, Rs 10 crore will be given for roads in each assembly constituency and Rs 15 crore will be given to the desert area.
Announcement of Rs 12000 crore for Metro Phase 2 in Jaipur
Diya Kumari has announced a budget of Rs 12000 crore for Metro Phase 2 in Jaipur. 500 new buses will be run for cities and villages. There is a provision of Rs 550 crore for the development of Panch Tatva in the districts.
Apart from this, the amount of 50 crores for Dang Mewat region has been increased to 100 crores.
The Finance Minister has announced to provide 50,000 agricultural and 5 lakh new agricultural connections under Khushal Kisan-Samriddh Rajasthan. Also, 2 lakh new land leases have been announced to be distributed under the ownership scheme.
