Postman is collecting important information
Under PM Surya Ghar Yojana, about 200 postmen posted at 22 post offices of the district and sub-post offices under them are going door-to-door and collecting information through the application “QRT PM Surya Ghar” on their mobiles. For registration, information like consumer’s mobile number, name and address, state, district, electricity distribution company, consumer account number, copy of electricity bill, photo of the roof of the house, estimated area available for solar panel installation etc. is uploaded on the concerned site. You will get this much subsidy
Under this scheme, the Central Government will give a subsidy of Rs 30 thousand for one kilowatt capacity solar panel, Rs 60 thousand for two kilowatt capacity and Rs 78 thousand for three or more kilowatt capacity solar panels. Due to which on average 0-150, 150-300, more than 300 units of electricity can be produced respectively. A two kilowatt roof top solar panel will cost the consumer only Rs 30,000.
