Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that all the beneficiaries registered under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will be given free LPG cylinders. A target has been set to deliver these cylinders to all the beneficiaries before Diwali, so that all families can celebrate the festival without any financial burden. About 2 crore people will benefit from this scheme.
Common people should link LPG connection with Aadhaar immediately
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officials that the beneficiaries whose LPG connection is not yet linked to Aadhaar. They need to link it as soon as possible. So that, they can avail the benefit of free cylinder scheme under Ujjwala Yojana. To get free cylinder, registration of the beneficiary is necessary under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Apart from this, it is mandatory to link LPG connection with Aadhaar. Free cylinders will be delivered to the addresses of the beneficiaries under the Ujjwala Yojana. That is, common people do not need to worry about the cylinder before Diwali.
