Free Service: There is good news for the people traveling in metro in Delhi NCR. Delhi government has made a big announcement regarding metro fares. In the news received quoting sources, it has been revealed that now these people will be able to travel for free in Delhi Metro.
Metro travel is considered very convenient for the people of Delhi NCR. Due to cheap metro fare, people are able to travel from one place to another at limited expense.
But the laborers working hard in Delhi can be given free metro service by the Delhi government. Recently, important announcements were made by the Delhi government ranging from insurance to free bus travel for the workers. Now according to information received from sources, Delhi government is preparing to provide free metro service to the workers.
According to the information received, Delhi Labor Minister Raj Kumar Anand held a meeting to provide free metro service to the workers, after which according to sources, information is also coming that he has written a letter to DMRC in this regard that (DTC) free bus service. On the lines of Delhi Metro, workers should be provided a one month pass for free travel in the same manner as the Transport Corporation provides them.
However, when ABP Live talked to DMRC regarding this matter, they said that till now they have not received any such letter, but if any such proposal reaches DMRC, then initiative will definitely be taken on it.
Many schemes for workers of Delhi
Many schemes are being run by the Delhi government for free bus service, salary of workers, children’s education, insurance and better future of the family. In such a situation, now free travel in the metro will be very helpful for the workers, but the entry and exit of the passengers at the metro gate is done only through the new upgrade system and token and smart card recharge.
In such a situation, for a system like special pass, DMRC will have to make changes in its system and it will not be so easy. Now it will be very interesting to see how long the workers get the benefit of this free facility with better coordination between Delhi Government and DMRC.
