Banks will remain closed on Friday 28 February
Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on 27 March 2025 on the occasion of Jumat-ul-Vida. Jumat-ul-Vida is the last Friday of the month of Ramadan, which is considered very special and sacred in the Muslim community. On this day special prayers are offered in mosques, Quran is recited, and prayers are offered to Allah. It is celebrated as the farewell to the last Friday of Ramadan, where people increase their prayers more and pray to Allah for mercy and forgiveness.

Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir

March 30 (Sunday) – Weekly holiday
March 31 (Monday): Ramzan-Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr) (Shawwal-1), Khutub-e-Ramadan – Holiday in most states except Mizoram and Himachal Pradesh.
