Commercial Gas Cylinder Price: Oil companies have reduced the price of commercial cooking gas (LPG) cylinder (19 kg) by Rs 39.50 from today i.e. Friday. This reduction has happened due to softening of international benchmarks. Earlier, state-owned oil companies had increased the price of commercial LPG by Rs 21 on December 1.
Commercial LPG price in Delhi ₹1,757
Oil companies said in the price notification that the price of commercial LPG, used in many establishments like hotels and restaurants, has now come down to Rs 1,757 (19 kg cylinder) in Delhi, which was earlier Rs 1,796.50.
Commercial LPG price in Mumbai ₹1,710
The price of commercial LPG has now become Rs 1,710 per 19 kg cylinder in Mumbai, Rs 1,868.50 in Kolkata and Rs 1,929 in Chennai. Rates vary from state to state due to local taxation. The Saudi contract price (CP), the benchmark used for LPG pricing, has softened in the past few weeks due to concerns over oversupply.

No change in domestic LPG prices
However, the price of domestic LPG used in domestic kitchen for cooking is only Rs 903 (14.2 kg cylinder), there has been no change in its prices.
