LPG Price: Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in the country and assembly elections in some states in the coming few months. Many important announcements are also being made by different governments regarding this. There is a need of gas cylinder in every house. Meanwhile, before the upcoming assembly elections, the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh has announced to provide LPG cylinders at a concessional rate of Rs 450 under the Ujjwala Yojana and Ladli Brahmin Yojana.
Gas cylinder
The BJP ruled state government will bear the remaining cost of the gas cylinder. To avail the subsidy, gas connection holders will have to purchase gas cylinders at market price. Later the remaining amount of subsidy will be transferred to the bank account of the gas connection holders. It has been said in the government order that those consumers who want to take advantage of this process will have to buy cylinders at market rates. Along with this, the subsidy provided by the Government of India and any reduction in the market rate determined by the State Government will be transferred to the bank accounts of the consumers.”

However, if there is any fluctuation in prices in future, then the state subsidy will be adjusted accordingly. Let us tell you that the announcement of reduction in LPG gas cylinder rate was made a day before PM Modi’s visit to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, those Ladli Brahmins who already have gas connection will be registered on the Ladli Brahmin Yojana portal. They can also be beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. According to the government order, the registration process will take place at all the centers designated for Ladli Brahmin Yojana.
Documents are also needed
Some documents are also required to register in it. In this, gas connection consumer number and LPG connection ID are currently sought among the documents required for registration. Under this scheme, registration ID for Ladli Brahmin Scheme will be prepared on the basis of data obtained from all the oil companies to identify the beneficiaries.
Information will be updated
Information of registered beneficiaries will be shown on the portal from 25 September 2023 and will also be updated continuously. The release said that registered beneficiaries can check this information on the portal from September 25, 2023, using their gas consumer number/gas connection ID and Ladli Brahmin ID.
